前言
大家好，相信諸位對HPLHS這一社團並不陌生，早已被其惡搞基督教聖樂的那些曲子聽得耳朵生繭，甚至到了厭惡的地步。進一步者，可能瞭解過惡搞劇本《屋頂上的修格斯》（A Shoggoth on the roof），甚至對油管上某個有一丁點嚇人的紀錄片有所耳聞（超低清畫質，對其惡搞者身份的調查，因為版權問題所以根本搜不到那個人，感興趣的話可以自行去外網搜索，但內容本質上沒什麼營養）。
當然，這些不是今天的重點，而是另一班人精心製作的歌劇項目，於2013年10月12日發行的專輯——《魔女屋中之夢洛氏搖滾歌劇》。
我已然忘卻幾年前我是如何發現這個專的，但它的質量非常頂，也易於理解。在契合洛老宇宙式/宏廣之恐怖的精神上，更融合了些宗教元素、以及創作者自身的思考。雖然我對音樂這一方面的知識瞭解甚少，本身也是個五音不全的大冤種。但是這部作品如此優秀，竟在國內克圈鮮有人問津，幾年過去了，也沒見幾個人瞭解這個專的。
慶幸的是，不像《屋頂上的修格斯》，這部專以及該團隊的其餘延伸作品皆可在網易雲音樂上搜索到。可笑的是，截止今日，收藏那個專輯的人數竟只有13人。我先前試圖將帶時間軸的歌詞與翻譯一並上傳，但因里面有對話的緣故，翻譯上傳失敗，因此，我打算將該專輯完整的內容全都發在此處，中英對照，方便大家體會歌詞的玄妙之處。若想瞭解更多與創作團隊相關的內容，可以去其官方網站瞭解更多內容。

[ELWOOD]Between Mazurewicz’s unrelenting prayers, Walter’s fanatical devotion to his mathematical studies, he didn’t get much rest. The longer we lived in the house, Father, the more obessed he became. The strain on him was terrible. The doctor said he had some kind of ‘brain fever’, but Walter swore it had something to do with the irregular shapes of his garret room.

Walter sacrificed himself, Father. Even as he heard the chanting coming from Meadow Hill, he wrenched the knife from the old woman’s claws, sending it clattering away into some nether world within his dream. She and Brown Jenkin fought back with tooth and nail, and as she choked him he felt the chain of the crucifix grinding into his neck. He pulled it free and his own hands reached out for the Witch’s throat. Before she saw what he was doing he had the chain of the crucifix twisted around her neck!

後記
眾所周知，國外有很多熱愛克系的音樂人，尤其在重金屬領域。也是克系才讓我對這些小眾的音樂有了些瞭解，最後感嘆許多文化之間有著很多密密麻麻的聯系，真是有一種微妙的感覺。回到這部專輯，對我來說真是san值狂掉了。跟直接看洛老原著有著同等的沖擊力，真的是厲害極了。
